If travellers visiting Australia really want to have an Australian experience, they need to try a SURFING lesson. Go Ride A Wave is Australia’s Favourite Surf School and is the largest and most professional surf school in Australia with operations on the Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast and Great Ocean Road. With 30 years of experience, highly qualified instructors (who are also Surf Life Savers), soft beginner surf boards and lessons held in waist deep water, anyone can try surfing and return home with photos to prove how exciting, fun and safe it is. Lessons include the use of a soft beginner surfboard and a long sleeve sun shirt or wetsuit and 2 hours of quality instruction.

For any customers who are nervous in the water we begin with 1 on 1 where the instructor is helping individuals for the first few waves until they build their confidence to try on their own with the instructor nearby to help if needed.
