During our one hour hot air balloon flights you will experience a breath taking panoramic view of “the
green cauldron’, floating gently above the undulating lush green hills with views to the Mt Warning
volcanic caldera to the north and the coastline and beaches to the east.

Getting There:
Please meet at our base, located just 5km north from the Byron Bay turnoff on the Pacific
Highway. Turn into Gray’s Lane, then 2nd left into Old Brunswick Rd. Proceed to the Blue
Hangar
The Tour takes off daily, before sunrise, weather permitted.
Meeting point is at Skydive Byron Bay HQ: Hangar 1, Tyagarah Airfield, Tyagarah (Byron Bay), NSW
Days of operation: 7 days a week (Mon to Sun)
Tour duration: approx. 4 hours
Need to know Info:
• Wear hiking style clothing and bring a hat. Sturdy shoes are recommended. Please bring sunglasses, a cap and sunscreen. Ladies, no skirts or high heels please!
• We take off just around sunrise, when the air is calm and stable.
•Meeting time is usually 45 minutes to one hour before dawn. The exact time will be given to you when you call in for your weather check the evening before the flight
• Photos can be purchased on the day for extra charge
